I am so excited I can hardly write! I was relaxing in front of the TV watching the film called 'Escape from Pretoria' and overheard that we are all going to Vietnam for a holiday!! Now I do love a holiday. I honestly think travel broadens the mind, though in fairness my mind is pretty broad anyway but the food, the sights, the strange smells, (that for once don't get blamed on me!) what is not to like. In an instant my mind was racing with a thousand questions.
- What do I need to pack? - is it smart casual or just beach wear. Do I need a safari suit?
- What about swimming? Is it surf shorts, speedos or does one go 'au natural' in Vietnam?
- Do I need jabs? I hope not as I've been to the vets three times in the last week and not had my temperature taken once. Any more visits and I am pushing my luck.
Oh my giddy aunt I am so EXCITED!
Anyway back to the film. It was OK in a 'poor mans Shawshank Redemption' kind of way though once again there was not one dog in the film. How is that even possible? Whilst I accept that I am no expert when it comes to humans there were a couple of things that puzzled me. Firstly I am sure that's not where my Dad stores his money and why was his money in a cigar tube in the first place. Surely a nice leather wallet would have been more stylish. Secondly what has happened to Daniel Radcliffes shape. He is seriously 'short of leg' and I speak as someone who is quite an expert in that arena. He also looks as if he has been slightly over inflated. Like a low rent Mr Incredible. Quite odd. Cant remember him being quite so mis-shaken in the Harry Potter films.
Update on the Vietnam holiday. Apparently I am not going. My sister and I are going to stay with the dog sitter.
I am crushed.
